Two Individuals Accused In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Incident

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
